I remember when I was younger, my father and I would frequent the circus. We would get popcorn and a bag of those little marshmallow circus peanuts. I remember the clowns would begin the show by rolling out in their tiny clown car. Then a few of them would climb up on stilts and walk around waving at the audience. I was always so fascinated that they could be that high up on them and never fall. It filled my child heart with wonder. I used to love watching the elephants too. They were so slow, graceful and gentle. I think, had I a choice when I was young, I would have liked to have learned how to use stilts. I think I would fear heights less. I would be able to experience the wonder of climbing so high. I would be able to bring joy to children like the clowns did for me then.
